Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative
The Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative is a black, trans-led, broad collaborative to restore an Atlanta where every person has the opportunity to grow and thrive without facing unfair barriers, especially from the criminal legal system.
Trans(forming) is a membership-based organization led by trans men, intersex, gender non-conforming people of color, assigned female at birth and those who are questioning. The organization hosts monthly meetings, social gatherings, provides resources and all around transitional support.
Trans Housing Atlanta Program
The mission of the Trans Housing Atlanta Program is to provide safe housing and appropriate supportive services to transgender and gender nonconforming individuals who are homeless to facilitate movement to independent living and promote productive employment and reduction of risky behaviors, or who seek intermediate or long-term housing that’s centered on the needs of transgender and gender nonconforming people.
Trans Gentlemen of Excellence
Trans Gentlemen of Excellence is a trans men support group committed to the advancement the trans men of color in the Five Key principles; Courage, Honor, Leadership, Service, and brotherhood.
TRANScending Barriers works to empower the transgender and gender non-conforming community in Georgia through community organizing with leadership building, advocacy, and direct services so that lives can be changed and our community is uplifted. They achieve this through holistic healing, harm reduction from the Prison Industrial Complex, andleadership development.
